Governance

LPHSC was incorporated in 2013 as a sole-proprietor, non-profit, limited liability corporation of the Association of Ohio Health Commissioners, the state SACCHO.  LPHSC is governed by a board of managers, up to fourteen members, elected from the participating member LHDs, which functions in accordance with bylaws adopted by the membership.   LPHSC is open to all SACCHO members, with participation fees of less than $10,000 per year for all of the services listed above.

 

LPHSC started billing in September 2014 with 11 charter members; and as of December 2024, membership has grown to 37 LHDs, from all geographic areas of the state, primarily small to midsize agencies.   The Collaborative holds the contract with the payer, and then contracts with the member LHDs to provide the services.
